If you’re looking for a mouthpiece to help you with your snoring when sleeping, then you may have come across the Zyppah. You may have seen that guy, Jimmy, in some of their commercials, but what is it, exactly?
The term Zyppah comes from the word Happy Z but spelled backward. It is a snoring mouthpiece, which has a unique tongue stabilizing feature. But we’ll get more to that in the next section!

Zyppah’s Unique Design
What does it look like? It looks just like your usual mouthpiece, but with one unique difference: Its tongue strap!
DISCOVER OUR FAVORITE ALTERNATIVE HERE
It has a revolutionary Z-flex technology, which is a tongue stabilizing strap at the back of your mouthpiece. That is what makes it different from other snoring mouthpieces, as it combines both jaw adjustment and tongue stabilization.
This is the only device that has the technology, which is why you can’t find a true alternative around.
The innovative design was created by Jonathan Greenburg, a doctor with over three decades of experience in dentistry and has been conducting researches in sleep apnea and snoring for ten years.
Best Zyppah Alternative
Due to all the negative reviews about Zyppah, we’ve been looking for a competitive product that was proven more effective. We checked several of them with deception, and finally came around a real effective eye cream. You can read its review HERE.
How Does Zyppah Work?
The mouthpiece is a boil and bite device. Through heating it, the mouthpiece will then become compliant, allowing the teeth to create an impression. The Zyppah fitting will then be perfect for the person using it. That way, it’s comfortable and has less of a chance to displace it while sleeping.
Just like a lot of other snoring mouthpieces, the Zyppah hybrid oral appliance works by moving your lower jaw forward, creating a larger airway. As a result, it reduces air resistance, snoring, and turbulence that troubles your sleep.
Using the mouthpiece is completely safe and simple. It is made out of environment-friendly and non-toxic materials, cleared by the FDA. And like mentioned, there have been doctors who recommend it to their patients, helping them treat their snoring or breathing problems while they sleep.
Here are the official Zyppah instructions to use the mouthpiece before going to bed:
1. Rinse the mouthpiece with warm water and put it in your mouth to get a feel of it before biting into it.
2. Boil a pot of water. While doing so, add ice in a bowl or mug. Transfer the boiling water in another bowl or mug and use tongs to submerge the mouthpiece into the boiled water for one minute, holding it down with the tongs to avoid it from floating.
3. Remove it and let it cool for about half a minute. Place it in your mouth, beginning with your lower teeth. It should be aligned with the harder black plastic. Once it is aligned, push your jaw forward until your edge of the upper teeth are placed where the hard plastic meets the soft plastic in the upper area.
4. Bite down on the mouthpiece for one minute, allowing the device to fit into your teeth. Remove it from your mouth and dip it in the bowl with ice for one minute. Now see if the device fits you. You may repeat the process if it doesn’t.
5. If the mouthpiece is now okay, all you need to do is to place it in your mouth the night before sleeping. On top of that, cleaning it is easy! Just rinse it well in the morning and use SNAP, which is the only cleaner that suits it completely.
How Is It Different From Other Snoring Devices?
You’re probably comparing:
• Zyppah VS ZQuiet
• Zyppah VS Pure Sleep
• VitalSleep VS Zyppah
• Zyppah VS SnoreRX
• … And many more products in mind!
There is no huge difference between the mouthpieces other than the tongue stabilization, which helps with your jaw. While the Zyppah may be a bit difficult to break into, it is quite comfortable while sleeping and will feel almost as if there were nothing in your mouth while resting. With Zyppah, jaw pain was reduced, and it had me (and many other users) feel better, based on Zyppah reviews and consumer reports!
Zyppah and Sleep Apnea
Does it help with sleep apnea, though?
So with this device, sleep apnea will probably not be entirely treated. Because it isn’t an official prescription doctors would recommend before the CPAP; you can use this as a Zyppah anti-snoring device, which is known to reduce significantly your snoring thanks to the tongue stabilization and better airways it creates.
Again, if you are wondering: “Does Zyppah work with sleep apnea?” It isn’t the official recommendation and is not the best alternative, especially if you are comparing the Zyppah vs. CPAP. They are two different things, with the Zyppah being an anti-snoring miracle more so than anything else.
The Zyppah Cost and Warranty
Now you’re probably wondering about the Zyppah price.
On their official website, their original price is $125.95, but there is a regular discount, which makes it now $99.95. This goes for ALL of their mouthpieces! There is also a return policy, where you have a 90-day guarantee, which can be extended if you need more time for adjustment or purchased the SNAP cleanser as well.
Zyppah: Where to Buy?
So, where can you get a Zyppah RX?
While the mouthpiece isn’t always available on Amazon, you can find it for sale on their official website. Unfortunately, I do not have a coupon or promo code; their discount price is a great deal though! With Zyppah, free shipping may be done as well. Watch out for their Zyppah codes and promotions. You may even come across a Zyppah discount code by Howard Stern!
And technically, with their guarantee, you can try it out for free and see if it works for you. If not, you can get a full refund!
Zyppah: Does It Work?
Here is my own zyppah review:
As for me and based on my tests, I can indeed call this mouthpiece for snoring. BUT, I can’t say that it helps sleep apnea completely. I would recommend this more as a snore guard more so than to treat a sleeping disorder. You may have it checked with your doctor, to see if it is okay to use this to treat your sleep apnea.

In Conclusion
So, here’s a quick recap: It is known to have a host of benefits when it comes to getting a good night’s sleep. It helps support your tongue and opens its airways, making it easier to breathe and stay in a deep sleep. It also reduces snoring while advancing your lower jaw and keeping the mouth comfortable.
So, is there such a thing as a Zyppah scam or not? It would all depend on the person! In my own experience, it has its negative side that makes me opt to try another alternative, such as CPAP therapy to help with my sleep apnea. Like what I said, with this device, apnea isn’t cured. If your only trouble is mild snoring or grinding your teeth while sleeping, then you may want to try this out yourself. Not to worry about spending too much, ask it comes with a guarantee if it doesn’t work for you!
I hope I helped you become more knowledgeable about the Zyppah device. So now that you have all the information you need let me know if you have bought it and tried it out in he comments section below! I would love to hear what you have to think.

Although uncomfortable at first, this mouthpiece did help me reduce snoring.

I really feel ridiculous biting on this mouthpiece while sleeping. Can you imagine a boxer still wearing his mouthpiece while he snoozes?
by Nerissa Mock review for Zyppah
I’ve tried anti-snoring devices like this before. This one is perhaps the most uncomfortable due to the toungue stabilizer.
